Nature fascinates me, I marvel at how resilient shells are against the rough shores and constant hammering of the waves. On the shores of some beaches in New Zealand, we have a snail like shell that is of a very unusual colour of the sea - purple. The amazing thing is that it is a very delicate shell, yet I collected many complete shells on the beaches as a child.
